MY STORY

Let’s get to know each other better!

I am an educator and architect with extensive experience. Throughout my adult life, I’ve balanced between designing and hands-on activities. These two fields intersect in my work, where I create toys, collages, and architectural projects.

WHAT DO OUR TOYS HELP WITH?

I care about your child’s development

01

Creativity

Researchers identify creativity as one of the key competencies of the 21st century. Creativity encompasses both creative thinking and action. LUKKA toys illustrate the goal we are striving for. You can achieve it in your own way, and the final result is self-rewarding!

02

Mindfullness

The development of mindfulness in a child is crucial for their healthy development and mental well-being. The instructions in LUKKA kits have been created as a result of conducting workshops. A child who can read will successfully follow such instructions. Younger children will need a MENTOR. Parents or grandparents can participate in the play, following Maria Montessori’s quote: “Help me to do it by myself.”

03

precision

LUKKA kits require precision on a child’s scale: cutting more or less along the lines, threading a needle, stringing beads on wires, putting on a rubber band, cutting and peeling self-adhesive foil, pressing together glued elements. Tasks for Mentors are also available, such as cutting windows with a small knife or hanging mobiles, all in line with Maria Montessori’s quote: “The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life.”

I AM guided by:
“Why should each of us use our creative power? Because nothing else makes a person as generous, joyful, vital, daring, and compassionate, as indifferent to strife and the accumulation of objects and money.”

What occupies my time outside of working with children?

In my free time, I practice TAI-CHI and create collages.

My adventure with collages began one May night in 2010. My nerves were on edge, and circumstances beyond my control had piled up. I wanted to find an activity that would help me relax. I started cutting, pasting, drawing, and painting. My thoughts revolved around one theme: the city. It all started innocently, and then it took up all the available time, evolving into a passion.

You can purchase my collages printed on metal or glass. Would you like to discuss the format, price, or deadline? Get in touch!
